Time for a break!

Today, I have been tying up my final loose ends before I take a break to recharge my batteries before the Autumn stint of weddings and wedding fairs. This will be my first proper break since last Christmas.

Those of you that either work within the wedding industry or are self employed will relate. As I answer my emails, send proofs ready for when I’m back in the studio, send invoices and schedule my Facebook posts for next week, I have reflected on what has been a fantastic year so far.

I have completed a huge amount of orders this year. Not just wedding invitations and on the day stationery – but Christening albums, personalised cards, favours, birthday invites, honeymoon albums, keepsake boxes… and all of it has been an absolute pleasure. I thank each and every one of my clients that has trusted me with their stationery. Many of you I have worked with for months, some of you have come back to me time and time again for special cards and gifts for friends and family.

The highlight of my year, without a doubt, is being asked to provide the stationery for Gok Wans Fashion Brunch Club. To celebrate my achievement, I have put together a collection of photos and the stationery I designed, which has pride of place in my showroom.

So for now, I’m signing off to spend some time with my family and have a well earned rest, but I’ll be back to it on Monday 21^st. Lots of Love x
